Simple Gravlaks Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg fresh salmon fillet, skin-on
  • 3 tbsp sea salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp black pepper, crushed
  • 1 bunch fresh dill

Instructions:

  1. Mix salt, sugar, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Rub the mixture over the salmon and layer with dill.
  3. Place in a dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2-3 days, turning occasionally.
  4. Slice thinly and serve with mustard sauce or on rye bread.

Preparation Time: 2-3 days (curing)
